Kochin’s
colonial charm and fascinating Malayali culture is a beautiful
entry into Kerala, god’s own country. Allepey and Quilon
within the mangrove waterjungle of the backwaters reflect an ancient
culture nutured by this unique lagoon system. Kanyakumari is the
southmost tip of India and has always been a place considered
to be very romantic. Its beaches invite for a relaxing stay. The
journey continues to Madurai, home to the famous Meenakshi temple,
which has a large market and is a colourful town. Kodaikanal is
South India’s highest and probably most special hill station
with its steep mountains, thick forests and gushing waterfalls.
From there the journey continous to Silent Valley, South India’s
last virgin jungle, which is an exciting yet tranquil and unfrequently
travelled spot. In Keralasherry one can experience authentic Kerala
village life, with its slow breath and simplicity.
