Arunachal
Pradesh is called the state that is kissed first by the rising
sun. Bordering Bhutan, Tibet and Myanmar it is the most challenging
of all Indian states. Arunachal is infrequently visited and blessed
by mountainous landscape with a fauna and flora so vast that
it is one of the world’s bio-diversity heritage sites. It
has got undisturbed wildlife, serene scenic beauties and a forest
cover of 80 %. Its isolated location and rigid restriction for
foreigners have been a blessing for the state in many aspects.
Its tribal population has retained its unique culture and traditions;
there are numerous tribes which differ surprisingly much in their
traditions, clothing and culture. It is a unique experience to
visit the tribals in their picturesque villages within silent
landscapes. To trek in this last eastern outpost of the Himalayas
is an exploration of the wild beauties of infrequently trekked
routes through the heights and valleys of this vast mountain landscape.
