Guwahati-Dibrugarh |
| Day 03 |
Dibrugarh-Roing. The river Lohit has to
be crossed by local boats. Overnight at Roing. |
| Day 04 |
Roing-Hunli. Drive along the riverside to Hunli. |
| Day 05 |
Hunli-Anini. Drive to Anini, headquarter
of the Dibang Valley. On the way the tribal villages
of New Anaya, Arruju and Angulin can be visited. |
| Day 06 |
Anini-Gipulin. Trek beginning: Trek from Anini to
Gipulin (15km 6hrs). There is an Arpopo village on the
way. Overnight in a tent or tribal house at Gipulin. |
| Day 07 |
Gipulin-Agrimbronlin. On the trek from Gipulin to
Agrimbronlin the Dree(10km, 5hrs) the Dree river is
crossed by a hanging bridge. Overnight in a tent or
tribal house at Agrimbronlin. |
| Day 08 |
Agrimbronlin-Acheson. From Agrimbronlin the trek goes
to Acheson (10km, 6hrs), the last Indian village in
this region. |
| Day 09 |
Acheson-Etabe. Enroute from Acheson to Etabe (20km,
7hrs) lies Alinneh, a Mishmi tribal village. |
| Day 10 |
Etabe-Amulin-Italin. The last trek leads to Amulin
(20km, 7hrs). On the way the villages of Lawungku and
Brawrun can be visited. After arrival drive back to
Italin. |
| Day 11 |
Italin-Roing. From Italin drive back to Roing. |
| Day 12 |
Roing-Dibrugarh From Roing drive back to Dibrugarh. |
| Day 13 |
Dibrugarh-Guwahati |
| Day 14 |
Returnflight to Delhi/Calcutta |
